Free study timetable maker

A study timetable maker should show when to study, but it should also help choose what goes into each slot. A blank weekly grid is useful only if the priorities behind it are realistic.

Quick answer

My Study Plan is a free study timetable maker for students. It asks for subjects, importance, confidence, deadlines, available time, breaks and lighter days, then builds a dated timetable you can download as a colour PDF or .ics calendar file.

Make the timetable: answer five short questions and download the finished plan.

What makes a study timetable useful

A useful timetable makes the next session obvious. It should say the subject, the time, the length of the session and where breaks fit. For exam revision, it should also know which subjects need more attention and which deadlines are close.

My Study Plan builds the timetable from real constraints: how much time is available per day, which days should stay lighter, how long sessions should be, and which subjects are important but less confident.

How to make a study timetable that is realistic

  1. Start with your normal day: use the amount of study time you can repeat, not a one-off perfect day.
  2. Add every subject: include the subjects you avoid, because they are usually the ones that need scheduling most.
  3. Rate importance and confidence: important low-confidence subjects should usually get earlier and more frequent sessions.
  4. Protect lighter days: a timetable that has no space for tired days is usually too fragile.
  5. Export and review: use the PDF for a visible plan or the calendar file when reminders help.

Weekly timetable or day-by-day schedule?

A weekly timetable is best when the same routine repeats: school, clubs, work shifts and regular homework time. A day-by-day schedule is better when exam dates are close, because subject priority changes as deadlines move nearer.

My Study Plan starts with a dated plan by default. If the week is stable, the calendar export can use recurring weekly sessions where appropriate instead of duplicating months of events.

What to put inside each study block

A block should be specific enough to begin without deciding again. "Biology" is weaker than "Biology: cell structure retrieval practice". Short active tasks are usually easier to start than broad reading blocks.

The Education Endowment Foundation describes planning, monitoring and evaluating learning as part of self-regulated learning. For a timetable, that means checking what actually happened after a few days and adjusting the next plan from evidence.

Common questions

What is a study timetable maker?

It is a tool that turns study time into a visible timetable, usually by placing subjects into days and times.

Is My Study Plan a timetable maker or a calendar generator?

It is both. It creates a day-by-day study timetable and exports the finished plan as a PDF or iCalendar file.

Can I make a study timetable without signing up?

Yes. My Study Plan works in the browser without an account and stores the plan on the device using local storage.

Should a study timetable repeat every week?

A repeating weekly timetable is useful for a stable routine. A dated timetable is usually better when exams, deadlines or subject priorities change.
